For the perfect sound. I know there is no such thing as perfect, since people like different shit. But what I am looking for MUST be flawless in my eyes. Practically, just like the way how Tha Jump Off is. That was practically a perfect sample for me. But I know there has to be more out there just waiting for me to get my hands on. Heheh, I actually ran into KRS-1 before in a chinese resturant in Englewood, NJ. Cool dude. But as far as being serious, I'm only as serious as the next man. I don't really do my best to get out there. I could do a lot more to get heard. But hey, if it happens, it happens, and I'll stick with it. Sam Cooke's "Change Is Gonna Come". The intro section and the horn flourishes during the 8th or so bar. That's my perfect sample region that I just haven't finished up yet because it never sounds right to me.
Otherwise, I got a couple more jazz samplism tracks and some soul from the 70's I wanna drop, but right now I got other stuff to finish up first. Good luck finding that perfect sound.
